Magic MIS Transactions
A sales and purchase dashboard from the registers you already export
Your accounting software already records every sale, bill, receipt and payment. Transactions reads those records once a month and shows what they add up to: who bought, how much, what came in and what went out — each document counted once, every figure traceable.

What the board shows each month
Sales and purchases, month by month
Net sales after credit notes, net purchases after debit notes, and the trend of both over the year.
Invoices, bills and their average
How many invoices went out and bills came in, and what a typical one was for, against last month.
Customers, new and returning
How many customers bought, how many for the first time, and which of them bought the most.
Receipts, payments and tax
Money in and money out, and the tax charged on sales against the tax paid on purchases.
Sales register analysis without rebuilding a spreadsheet every month
A sales and purchase report usually means pasting the month’s registers into last month’s workbook and fixing what broke. Here you upload the registers, an invoice list or a day book, and the sales register analysis is done the same way every month: each document read once, credit notes netted off the customers they were given to, and the month set against the one before and the same month last year.
Customers are counted across every month you have loaded, so a new customer is one billed for the first time, not one new to this file. More on reading a customer-wise sales report.
Each document is counted once, and a void one not at all
An invoice can sit in the sales register and in the day book; it is one invoice. Documents are matched by kind, number and date across every file you load, and the register’s reading is kept because it carries the customer and the tax. Rows marked void, cancelled or draft are left out, and a list whose documents do not add up to the grand total it prints is pointed out rather than trusted.
No AI reads your invoices
The files are read by their headings and every figure is arithmetic, so no model sees a document, a customer or an amount from them. The assistant beside the board answers questions and changes the board by chatting, working from the month’s totals; a customer is a token to it, and the names appear on your own board only.
A transactions dashboard you can change by asking
The transactions dashboard starts with net sales, invoices, the average invoice, customers, the top customers, receipts against payments and tax. Pick more from a library of KPIs, or ask the assistant to add a card, a chart or a formula of your own. The invoice analysis dashboard is presented live, saved as a PDF or exported to Excel like any board in Magic MIS.

What people ask about Transactions
Does it replace my accounting software?
No. Your accounting software records the sales, bills and payments; this reads what it exports and reports on them. Nothing is posted back, and nothing you upload changes your books.
Which files does it read?
A sales register, a purchase register, credit and debit note registers, a day book, or the invoice and bill list any accounting system exports — in Excel, CSV or PDF. Columns are found by their headings, so the layout of your own export is read as it is.
Is an invoice counted twice if it is in both the sales register and the day book?
No. Each document is counted once, by its kind, number and date, and the register's reading is the one kept because it names the customer and the tax. Void, cancelled and draft documents are left out and said so.
Does AI read my invoices?
No. The files are read by their headings and every figure is arithmetic, so no model sees a document. The assistant beside the board answers questions from the month's totals, with every customer's name replaced by a token before it is asked anything.
Is it the same account as the MIS?
Yes. A Transactions company sits in the same Magic MIS account, paid from the same prepaid credits at the same price for each action, with a monthly fee for each active company.
